Ah, Halloween. Autumnal breezes, crisp leaves, and pumpkin flavored everything! What is it about this time of year that is so enchanting, so mystifying? In this lecture Dustin sheds some light on the spooky shadows of Halloween history and lore. Ghost stories? Oh yeah, he has some of those too.

Spirits of New England

Being a New England native has allowed Dustin to investigate some very interesting places rich with local history and folklore. This lecture chronicles some of his favorite New England investigations that he has been a part of. It even touches upon a legend with local roots that has become a world-wide phenomenon. The Ghosts of Christmas Past

Listed both here and on the Christmas lectures page because, well- it’s both! In this frightful, festive, and fun presentation Dustin takes the cobwebs off of a classic tradition, the Victorian Christmas Ghost Story. Not only does he explain the history of this often forgotten practice, but he shares a few timeless tales and even some real-life stories of holiday visits from the Ghosts of Christmas Past.
